About

We all remember the moment when we decided to start our blog.

We can recall where we were sitting (or standing), what stage of life we were in, our emotional state, the clothes we were wearing, and even what we had for breakfast — okay, okay. I know that was a bit of a stretch, but you get the idea.

When we first get the crazy thought to “start a blog” it all starts with an idea…or twenty billion. Which usually results in us sitting in a dark room surrounded by wads of crumpled paper from all of the brainstorming. We also confide in our dear ol’ friend Google to search for the answers to our burning questions.

How to start a blog…
How to set up a website…
Who’s actually going to read this shit?
10 successful bloggers and how they did it…
How do I make money?
Can I just become rich and famous already?! (Wait. Scratch that.)

But some questions we just can’t find the answers to. Either because the blogging monsters are selfish and want to keep the money secrets all to themselves (which I highly doubt because they all started out just like us – poor and inspired) OR we just can’t quite figure out how to put words to the questions that we are so desperately searching for. But I have a little secret: I’ve learned quite a few handy-dandy things from real bloggers.

Well, I’ll be damned.

No, I’m not talking about the giant bloggers who are so busy being awesome that they’ve hired someone to answer all of our innocent beginner questions. I’m talking about the bloggers who take the time to remember the days before they hit the jackpot and help a sister out!

Coffee dates, text, email, Facebook, and sliding into the Twitter DMs — you name it, I’ve done it. As a result of all of my internet scouring and slight stalking, I’ve picked up some awesome tips and tricks from bloggers who were kind enough to share their wisdom.

So here we are.

Welcome to Blogger to Blogger. I’m extending a warm hug (or handshake) as you join this community of writers. I created this community for bloggers like me who are left stumped and scratching their heads after hours of Google searches — still left with questions unanswered.

Whether you just decided to start your blog or you have tens of thousands of dedicated readers, this is a welcoming place where you don’t have to be a know-it-all. I encourage you to ask questions, share your stories (and triumphs), and learn from the experiences of those of us who are still tinkering, experimenting, or seeing results!

I look forward to meeting you, engaging with you, and ultimately, uplifting you and your blog baby!
